Everywhere we go, we can’t assure that we are safe when it comes to protecting ourselves to various viruses that exists. No matter how much we wash our hands or take a bath – no matter how OCD we are with our stuff we can get sick from as simple as colds to unknown diseases.
This is what I’ve learned after watching Contagion. You can get infected of anything regardless of who you are, even if you’re the actual person trying to find the cure.

You got to agree that any serious virus is described that way, in the movie, the MEV-1 virus. So, even little insects can actually cause the most deadly virus such as the moth, so don’t forget to buy moth traps at home. Then of course our main reason of death in the movie which are bats and pigs in the movie, the whole chaos was caused by a bat eating a banana, eaten by a pig – yes, just that which killed a huge number of people instantly.
Overall, this movie is a 7/10 to me. There were often dull moments but it also lets you see what can actually happen in times of famine and trouble. People can go out of control because everyone just wants to survive. I imagine how hard it would be if a real zombie apocalypse was to happen – no, let’s not imagine anymore.
I heard while some of my officemates were talking that yearly check-ups were not required for all private employees. As I was not yet regularised at the time, I was not able to go for that yearly check-up they were talking about.
But it gives me the chills, a bit. Since I always go to the hospital with my mom whenever we do check-ups and everything. I imagine it could be sort of scary when on the medical exam table. Don’t you think so?
Then again, medical check-ups are essential for you to know your current health as well and how you can improve it!
