Kungfu Panda 3

“Your real strength comes from being your best you.” – Po

So finally, yours truly was able to watch the third Kunfu Panda movie! It was out a few months ago (I think, January?) Anyway, as usual it made me laugh, cry and also inspire me in life.

Po finally meets his father as seen in trailers, what’s more is that he gets to meet more Pandas! Hooray! It doesn’t stop there though, like all movies there will always be a villain and that is Kai. Kai used to be a ‘brother’ figure for master Oogway (most supreme master in kung fu at this point) who wants to take everything master Oogway has built.

Of course, Po has to come up with something! But this time, he needs to realize his true self.

Overall, it’s a must for those who’ve seen the earlier Kungfu Panda movies to finally complete the missing puzzles, and for families! Actually, even grown ups, like sort-of-grown-ups like me. 10/10!

Fated to Love You (2014)

Last week, we finally finished watching Fated to Love You (2014). Actually it’s more of a re-watch for me since I’ve seen it before, only, I wanted my boyfriend to also watch it so I went through all the trouble of watching it all over again – I don’t regret anything though since there were some parts that I didn’t understand back then (I was probably doing something else while I watched before)

While many vouch for earlier version of Fated to Love You, this for me, is the better version. The story is very much different, I know as the old one was truly based on the manga which is the original story. But the Korean version made it more fun and unforgettable. I mean, who could ever forget Lee Gun’s amazing laugh? Ha ha ha ha! I won’t, I will never.

Kim Mi-young is very pure that every time I think about her I feel butterflies everywhere. What is not to like with Kim Mi-young? She’s so kindhearted, just perfect for the very proud Lee Gun.

That said, this is something you can re-watch no matter how many times! There’s never a dull moment in the episodes, there are sad days, happy days and surprises everytime. Heck, that Sambap Lady really got me!

So, if you haven’t seen this Korean drama, it’s a must watch! Got to say this is the only time, but I really want to thank ABS-CBN for airing it! Thanks to the awesome portrayal, Windstruck’s Jang Hyuk and very cute Jang Nara 🙂
