Last week, we finally finished watching Fated to Love You (2014). Actually it’s more of a re-watch for me since I’ve seen it before, only, I wanted my boyfriend to also watch it so I went through all the trouble of watching it all over again – I don’t regret anything though since there were some parts that I didn’t understand back then (I was probably doing something else while I watched before)
While many vouch for earlier version of Fated to Love You, this for me, is the better version. The story is very much different, I know as the old one was truly based on the manga which is the original story. But the Korean version made it more fun and unforgettable. I mean, who could ever forget Lee Gun’s amazing laugh? Ha ha ha ha! I won’t, I will never.
Kim Mi-young is very pure that every time I think about her I feel butterflies everywhere. What is not to like with Kim Mi-young? She’s so kindhearted, just perfect for the very proud Lee Gun.
That said, this is something you can re-watch no matter how many times! There’s never a dull moment in the episodes, there are sad days, happy days and surprises everytime. Heck, that Sambap Lady really got me!
So, if you haven’t seen this Korean drama, it’s a must watch! Got to say this is the only time, but I really want to thank ABS-CBN for airing it! Thanks to the awesome portrayal, Windstruck’s Jang Hyuk and very cute Jang Nara 🙂
Despite my second thoughts in watching this movie, we finally did! It was shown in cinemas last year. I was not really not into the idea of watching it because to me in seemed like a Rurounin Kenshin knock-off..but I guess I was wrong about that 🙂
47 Ronin is about a band of warriors/samurai who is known for their courage in avenging their master who was killed because of the evil deeds done by a witch and a greedy man.
This movie stars Keanu Reeves who finally has re-appeared in the movie scene after a very long time. He becomes that skilled samurai who fights for his love and he helps his other samurai fellows who was outcasted by the enemy they’re faced with.
Overall, what I really like in this movie is their fighting scenes! They were indeed full of action but I was partly bored especially with the beginning. The story is also interesting and inspiring – although I kind of feel bad about the ending. I give it a 7/10 because I still love Kenshin. Hehehe.
