I was finally able to watch Monters University! After the long wait and I was able to eat the special donuts from Krispy Kreme as well but sadly I lost the picture 🙁
To me, being able to watch Monsters University is a fulfilment for my childhood. Then again, the story isn’t quite as I expected it to be. I was hoping we’d get to know what happens to Boo after going back home.
This movie happens to be more like a prequel to the first movie Monsters Inc. because it details to us how Mike Wazowzki and James Sullivan came to be, even evil Randy is part of their story.
It makes us realise that in the story, there’s more to these monsters kids have been knowing as scary. There are dreams, and for dreams to come true one makes sacrifices and always stands strong.
While it wasn’t the plot I wanted, I still liked Monsters University for its touching story. I still hope for a sequel because I’m dying to know what happened to Boo.
About 2 months ago, we decided to watch Silent Hill Revelation 3D. It has been a long time since I watched a horror movie (although, Silent Hill doesn’t appear to be a horror movie anymore)
As usual the “monsters” in the movie are death-defying that you can’t even beat them with strong de-sta-co clamps. The famous scary nurses are also still there except they didn’t have that much of spotlight.
The story picks up after where its first movie ended. Apparently, Alessa is still on the go for revenge. If you can recall, in Silent Hill (first movie) the end movie showed Rose (Sharon’s mother) getting home but it seemed like they were already ghost – at least that’s what I thought.
What actually happened was that Rose was not able to come back but Sharon did. However, as she grew up they always had to move to new places to avoid the issue about her being adopted and being investigated regarding her connection with Alessa. Now, she used the name Heather.
Heather (Sharon) is now the one who must face Alessa and a group that was supposedly the one who killed Alessa. So many facts are unfolded and revealed in this movie to explain more on what happens after Silent Hill.
Overall, I still like the first movie Silent Hill simply because to me it had “more story”. The “scary” factor is no longer in this movie, perhaps because it took too long to be released and I guess because I’m still thinking of the game rather than the movie.
